A fast-growing, deeply drought-tolerant shade tree, and one of the few in our range that performs reliably in arid Gulf conditions. Native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia, and long established across the region as an avenue and shade tree.

Landscape use
Used for avenue planting, car park and courtyard shade, windbreaks and perimeter screening. The crown is broad and dense enough to cool ground-level space, which makes it useful on large open sites where shade is the brief rather than ornament.
Neem earns its place through performance rather than display. Where a scheme also wants seasonal colour at a focal point, it pairs well with Cassia fistula or Delonix regia.
