Tabebuia aurea, also traded as Tabebuia argentea, supplied from Thailand for landscape projects. Drought-hardy yellow flowering tree for Gulf schemes.

A small, sculptural tree with silvery-grey foliage and a crooked, characterful branch structure, carrying bright yellow trumpet flowers on bare wood. Distinctive out of flower as well as in it, which is rarer than it sounds.

Landscape use
Courtyards, villa gardens, plazas, roundabouts and feature planting where a small tree has to hold attention. The silver foliage and irregular form make it useful as a single specimen rather than in rows.
Its measured growth keeps it compact and in scale for years, which makes it dependable close to buildings and hard landscape. Specify the size you want at delivery and it will hold that character.
